Both Houses of Federal Parliament Scheduled to Meet Today

The meeting of both houses of the federal parliament is being held today. Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal is set to announce the details of a letter from the President’s office concerning the authentication of a bill during the House of Representatives meeting at Singh Darbar, scheduled for 1:00 PM.

In addition, SitaBadi, Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities, is expected to propose that the ‘Children (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’ be sent to the relevant committee for a quarterly discussion.

Similarly, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister SovitaGautam will present a proposal on behalf of Prime Minister and Defense Minister Balendra Shah to pass the National Service Corps Bill, 2083.

Furthermore, Agriculture, Forest and Environment Minister Geeta Chaudhary will address questions related to her ministry during the National Assembly meeting at 1:15 PM.

She will also propose the passing of the Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083.

Additionally, today will see meetings of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, and the Infrastructure Development Committee. (RSS)
