Wellness Walk Held to Celebrate International Wellness Day

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised a ‘Wellness Walk’ today along the Haatiban – Champadevi trail in Dakshinkali Municipality. The event was held to celebrate the first-ever International Wellness Day.
Ambassadors, other members of diplomatic corps, and senior government officials joined the walk to reaffirm a shared commitment to wellness and healthy lifestyle.
Welcoming the participants, Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai highlighted Nepal’s policy commitment to become a premier wellness destination, following UN’s adoption of Nepal’s proposal to observe International Wellness Day every 15 April, according to a statement issued by the Ministry here today.
During the occasion, Jeevan Vigyan instructor Prateek Sharma demonstrated some fundamental techniques of Asan, Pranayam and Dhyan. (RSS)
