Indian Ambassador Srivastava Pays Farewell Call on PM Shah

India’s ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, today paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Balendra Shah. The Indian ambassador is returning home upon the completion of his tenure, said Prime Minister’s Press and Research Expert Dipa Dahal. Srivastava had assumed office on June 25, 2022.

In the meeting held in the Singha Durbar-based Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the Prime Minister said Nepal and India ever enjoyed cordial and deeper relations. He expressed his gratitude to India for its support in the search and rescue during recent floods, landslides and disasters.

The Prime Minister congratulated the ambassador on successfully completing his tenure and extended best wishes in the coming days. On the occasion, the ambassador said that during his term, several development projects were concluded during his term, specially thanking the Government of Nepal and people here for their support and cooperation to him during his stay in Nepal.
