Disaster-induced Death Toll Climbs to 35

A total of 35 people have lost their lives in disasters—including floods and landslides—triggered by incessant rainfall across various parts of the country since September 24.

According to the Central Police News Room, the fatalities include 12 in Baglung, seven in Myagdi, five in Palpa, four in Manang, and one each in Dhanusha, Makwanpur, Dhading, Kavre, Rolpa, Dolpa, and Rukum West.

In addition, 15 people have been injured in these disaster incidents, and are undergoing treatment at local medical facilities. (RSS)
