RSP’s Ranju Neupane Darshana Wins in Kathmandu-1

Ranju Neupane Darshana of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected as a Member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 1.

She secured 15,455 votes, defeating her closest rival Prabal Thapa of the Nepali Congress, who received 6,364 votes.

Ranju previously contested the mayoral election of Kathmandu Metropolitan City representing the Bibeksheel Nepali Party in the first local elections held after the promulgation of The Constitution of Nepal 2016.
