Lamichhane to Engage in Political Talks, including with BJP Chair Nabin

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane is presently on a five-day official visit to India at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).  

As part of his visit, Lamichhane is scheduled to engage in high-level political meetings today, including talks with BJP Chair Nitin Nabin.  

The bilateral meeting to take place at the BJP’s central office in New Delhi, is  expected to focus on democratic forces in both countries, political collaboration and the strengthening of bilateral relations, according to RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha.

The RSP President departed for India on Monday. During his stay in India, he will interact with the members of the Nepali community in India as well as party well-wishers. 

He is also scheduled to visit Ayodhya. 

The delegation accompanying Lamichhane includes his spouse Nikita Paudel, RSP Joint General Secretary and House of Representatives (HoR) member Bipin Kumar Acharya, RSP Secretariat member and House of Representatives (HoR) member Deepak Bohara and private secretary Pradeep Acharya. 

The Nepali Embassy in New Delhi is coordinating Lamichhane’s high-level meetings and other programmes during the visit. (RSS)
