UAE Expresses Solidarity With Nepal, Pledges Aid After Rasuwa Flood Tragedy

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has pledged assistance to Nepal for rescue, relief and recovery efforts following the massive flash floods that struck Rasuwa district on Wednesday.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep condolences over the loss of lives and extensive damage to infrastructure caused by the disaster.

The ministry conveyed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the Government and people of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. It also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the disaster.
