Committee Formed to Study about Saptakoshi Boat Capsize

The Koshi province government has decided to form a study committee to investigate the truth and facts behind the fatal boat capsize that took place in the Saptakoshi River at the confluence of Dhankuta, Bhojpur, and Udayapur on October 25.

The committee formed under the coordination of Provincial Secretary Asman Tamang has been asked to submit its report within seven days. Sharing information about today’s cabinet meeting, government spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Gombu Sherpa, said the government also decided to table the annual report of the Office of the Chief Attorney for the fiscal year 2082/83 before the Province Assembly.

He also informed that the Koshi Province Coordinated Tourism Service Desk and the ‘hotline’ operation guidelines, 2083 BS were approved. (RSS)
