RSP President Lamichhane and US Secretary of State Rubio Hold Phone Conversation

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane and the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, held a telephonic conversation today.

During the phone call, Secretary of State Rubio expressed his condolences to those who lost their lives in the Bhotekoshi flood and expressed solidarity with the Nepali people and the government, according to the RSP. 

On the occasion, President Lamichhane stated that the party is making maximum efforts to assist the Government of Nepal in its ongoing search, rescue, and relief distribution operations. 

He assured Secretary of State Rubio that Nepal remains committed to ensuring the safety and protection of foreign nationals affected by the recent floods.

President Lamichhane also expressed his gratitude for the assistance received from the US government during this difficult time. 

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Rubio stated that the United States stands ready to provide further assistance to the Government of Nepal, according to the RSP.
