Vehicular Movement Disrupted in Various Districts

Vehicular movement along different road sections including in Rasuwa district were disrupted by the landslides and rain-triggered disasters. The Nepal Police Headquarters stated that numerous road sections in Dhading, Okhaldhunga, Manang, Mugu and others districts were obstructed.

The Prithvi Highway is currently blocked due to landslide occurred at Krishnabhir of Dhading. The landslide took place after the Trishuli River eroded the highway, posing severe threat to vehicular movement at Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-7 in Dhading.
Likewise, the road is totally blocked after the lower section of the highway collapsed near Parewabhir in Gajuri Rural Municipality-2 in the district.

Similarly, the road to Gamgadhi from Mugu is obstructed following the torrential rain in Mugu district.

The Nepal Police stated that to road along the Siddhicharan Highway connecting wards no. 6 and 7 of Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality in Okhaldhunga district was blocked. The Besisahar-Manang road is also fully obstructed after a landslide at Shreechaur in Marsyangdhi Rural Municipality-4, Lamjung. (RSS)
