Vehicle Carrying Election Staffers Plunges Leaving One Dead

One person died and six others were injured when a vehicle carrying election materials and staffs for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections plunged at Sanghutar of Ramechhap Municipality-2 in Ramechhap district today.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhola Bhatta at the District Police Office, a policeman lost his life and six others were hurt in the accident.

The incident occurred when a vehicle with registration no Na 4 Kha 6768 met with an accident.

Local residents and security personnel are carrying out rescue operations and further details are awaited, police said. (RSS)
