Identity of Nepali Citizen Killed in Dubai Airport Confirmed

The Embassy of Nepal has confirmed the identity of the deceased Nepali citizen in the drone attack in Abu Dhabi, UAE. A 29-year-old Nepali national, Diwas Shrestha, a permanent resident of Gorkha District, Nepal, has died in the incident at Zayed International Airport, according to a condolence letter issued by the Embassy on Sunday.

Shrestha was employed as a security guard in UAE. According to official information from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he passed away during an operation to disable a drone at the airport.

The Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi expressed deep sorrow over the death and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
