Sub-committee Formed to Study about Rasuwa Flood Impacts

The Finance Committee under the House of Representatives is to conduct a study and analysis about the impacts of Rasuwa flood in country’s economy as well as issues related to climate finance.

A seven-member sub-committee under coordination of lawmaker Sushila Khadka has been formed for this purpose. A meeting of the Finance Committee held at Singha Durbar today formed the sub-committee.

Narendra Kumar Kerung, Parashu Ram Tamang, Dr Pushpa Raj Kandel, Lima Adhikari, Pushpa Chaudhary and Sushant Vaidik are the members of the sub-committee.

Finance-Committee President Dr Krishna Hari Budhathoki shared that the sub-committee has given mandate to present the report by September 18 by carrying out study about the impacts of Rasuwa flood on economy and the issue related to climate change. (RSS)
