Rasuwa Floods: 60 Employees Hired for Langtang Khola Hydroelectric Project Go Missing

A total of 60 employees including an engineer, working for the under-construction 20 MW Langtang Khola Hydroelectric Project based in Syafrubesi of Rasuwa have gone missing following the Bhotekoshi devastating flood this morning.

According to Project Managing Director Bijay Mohan Bhattarai, 60 staff have been missing since the flood, demanding the government launch a search operation for them.

The project was carrying out concrete construction work inside a tunnel. The flood caused severe damage to the project. The flood also caused a tunnel that lies above 10 meters from the river level. (RSS)
