Rasuwa Floods: 177 Confirmed Dead, Hundreds Missing

One hundred and seventy-seven people have died so far due to the massive flash flood in the Bhotekoshi river of Rasuwa on Wednesday.

According to information provided by the Nepal Police, so far 41 women, 69 men, 10 girls, seven boys, and 50 people whose identities are unknown have died in the disaster. Police said the bodies of two men have been found in Rasuwa.

Also, the bodies of four women, six men, and two unidentified people have been found in Nuwakot, while the bodies of nine women, 11 men, a girl, and six unidentified people have been found in Dhading.

Similarly, the bodies of two women, 10 men, one child, and seven whose sex could not be verified have been recovered in Gorkha. According to the police, in Chitwan, the bodies of 15 women, 19 men, two girls, four boys, and 29 unidentified people have been found.

Likewise, the bodies of one woman, six men, one girl, and one boy were found in Tanahu. In Eastern Nawalparasi, the bodies of six women, 15 men, four girls, one boy, and six unidentified people were found. (RSS)
