Nepse Transactions Suspended Over Issue in Data Centre

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has suspended stock transactions today after a technical issue hampered its data centre. The Nepse data centre houses servers of 72 trading member companies linked to NEPSE’s trading system.

In a notice issued on Monday, NEPSE said that a technical problem had occurred at Data Hub Pvt. Ltd since 4:00 am of September 20 (Sunday). The issue has remained unfixed till today.

The stock market remains closed on Sunday, the regular public holiday. Meanwhile, the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal had also requested NEPSE to suspend today’s regular trading over the issue. (RSS)
