PM Disaster Relief Fund Receives Increasing Amount of Aid

The Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund has gradually received increased amount of money. The fund has grown with higher motivation of donors to contribute for the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of flood victims in the Bhotekoshi River. Lisbon (Portugal): Today, hotel entrepreneur Rajkumar Gautam from Portugal donated Rs 500,000.

He deposited the amount into the Prime Minister Relief Fund directly from Portugal. Kavrepalanchok: The Kavre branch of the Private and Residential Schools Organization, Nepal (PABSON) deposited Rs 3,246,752 into the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for flood relief, rescue, and rehabilitation. PABSON Panauti contributed Rs 1,124,033, PABSON Panchkhal Rs 307,484, and PABSON Banepa contributed Rs 1,752,235, according to PABSON’s Deputy General Secretary Bhimsen KC.

Parsa: Shivam Savings and Credit Cooperative in Birgunj Metropolitan City–10 deposited Rs 251,000 into the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, said Chairman Shivaji Prasad Kalwar. Kapilvastu: Kalika Self-Reliance Social Center located in Taulihawa has contributed Rs 155,000 to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund, said the center’s chairman Mandip Singh.

Tanahun: Tanahun Society UK has provided Rs 1,019,500 to support relief and rehabilitation for families affected by floods and landslides. The cheque for this amount collected in the UK was handed over to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle today, informed Nirmala Thapa, Vice-Chairperson of Tanahun Society UK. (RSS)
