NRB Contributes 13.8 Million for Flood-affected People

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has deposited Rs 13 million 899 thousand and 425 into the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund today for the rescue and relief of citizens affected by the flood in the Bhotekoshi river in Rasuwa.
The money collected on behalf of the officials and staff of the Central Bank has been deposited into the fund.
According to a press release issued today by the Governor’s Office of the central bank, the amount was collected as contributions from the Governor, Deputy Governor, and permanent and contract staff working at the bank to help those affected by the flood on August 26. (RSS)
