Non-Resident Envoy of Morocco Pays Courtesy Call on Foreign Minister Khanal

Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Nepal, Mohamed Maliki, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal on Monday.
During the meeting held at the Ministry, discussions were held on various issues including friendly relations between Nepal and Morocco, and the measures to further strengthen the coordinal relations, according to the Ministry.
Ambassador Maliki arrived here to attend a programme organised by the Kathmandu-based Honorary Consulate of Morocco on the occasion of 27th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne and the National Day of Morocco.

They also discussed various issues including possibility of supply of chemical fertilizers from Morocco as well as expanding support in agriculture, renewable energy, tourism, culture, transport and road network, training and capacity building, among other sectors.
Discussions were also held on organizing the second meeting of Nepal-Morocco Bilateral Consultation Mechanism on a suitable date convenient for both sides in Kathmandu. The diplomatic relation between Nepal and Morocco was established in 1975. (RSS)
