PM Shah in Flood-hit Bidur
Prime Minister Balendra Shah has arrived in Bidur, Nuwakot today to take stock of the damage caused by the devastating flash flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday and to make the relief and rescue efforts more effective.
Prime Minister Shah arrived in Bidur via the land route.
Prime Minister Shah is attending a briefing at the Shree No. 1 Military Training Centre in Bidur Municipality along with the heads of administration and security agencies.
Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal, Information and Communications Minister Dr Bikram Timilsina, Bagmati Province Chief Minister Kiran Thapamagar, and Nepali Army Chief of Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel are participating in the discussion.
The Chief District Officer of Nuwakot, Shambhu Prasad Regmi, and the District Police Chief Bipin Regmi, among others, have informed about the situation of human and material losses. (RSS)
