Nepali Pilgrims Depart for Hajj Journey to Mecca

Nepali pilgrims departing for the holy Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca were bade farewell today.

Asim Shah, Political Adviser to Prime Minister and Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Nepal, Fahad Mohammed Azmi Minikair bade farewell to the pilgrims from Nepal.

They expressed confidence that religious, cultural, and bilateral ties between Nepal and Saudi Arabia would grow stronger, while extending best wishes for a safe, successful, and peaceful journey to all Nepali Muslim pilgrims participating in the Hajj.

They also described Hajj as an important symbol of faith, discipline, and spiritual unity for Muslims, and called on the concerned authorities to ensure smooth management, security and necessary support for the pilgrims throughout the journey.
