Nepal Army Rescues 123 People From Timmure of Rasuwa, Minister Timilsina Oversees Rescue Operations

Nepal Army has rescued 123 missing people by helicopter from the flood affected areas in Rasuwa this morning.

According to the Nepal Army, 95 people were safely rescued from the Timure area of Rasuwa, among whom eight are foreigners.

The Army stated that preparations are underway to bring the foreigners to Kathmandu by helicopter, while the rest will be taken to Dhunche.

Similarly, seven people trapped inside the tunnel of the hydropower project in Haku, Rasuwa, were rescued alive, and rescue operations are ongoing in three other tunnels, according to the Army.

The Nepal Army also reported that the 21 Indian tourists missing in the Timure area have been rescued alive, and the process of bringing them to Kathmandu is currently underway.

Meanwhile Minister for Information and Communication Dr. Bikram Timilsina reached Nepal Army Training Center at Bidur of Nuwakot and took stock of the rescue and relief operations.
