Home Minister Reaches Bhotekoshi to Encourage Rescue Workers

Home Minister Sudhan Gurung today reached Shyaphrubensi of Gosaikunda-5 in Rasuwa district from where an electric vehicle had plunged into the Bhotekoshi River on Saturday evening.

Driver Sabin Tamang, 22, from Tallo Dharapani of Kalika Rural Municipality-3 has been missing since the incident.

Chief District Officer Narendra Pariyar informed that following the Home Minister’s onsite inspection, the divers and staffs from three security agencies have been mobilized in the site. Ten drones have also been mobilized for the search of the missing driver and vehicle.

The District Disaster Management Committee has been coordinating for the search and rescue works.
The Committee shared information that the search was challenging because the incident site was a deep gorge, and the water was murky. (RSS)
