Cabinet Meeting Scheduled for 3:00 pm Today

A meeting of the Council of Ministers is scheduled to take place at 3:00 pm today. According to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM), the meeting summoned by Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is expected to discuss contemporary issues.

The meeting is expected to discuss disaster-response efforts following the devastating flash floods that struck the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river systems on August 26.

It is also expected to take necessary decisions to make the ongoing search and rescue operations, delivery of humanitarian assistance, and rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas more effective. (RSS)
