Budget to Boost Up Self-confidence of Private Sector: FNCSI

Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI) has drawn a conclusion that the recently-unveiled government budget has increased the self-confidence of private sector.
At a press conference today to share information about the 26th general convention of the Federation and 23rd National Women Entrepreneurs Conference, FNCSI Chair Umesh Prasad Singh expressed the confidence that the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 would contribute to the economic revitalization, productive economy promotion, entrepreneurial expansion and private sector confidence building.
He further said they are optimistic that the budget would set a solid foundation to ensure circular economy and boost up of self-confidence of private sector.
“Among the positive measures taken by the budget include reforms in industrial and business tax, development of entrepreneurship, promotion of digital economy, plan focused on production and employment expansion, and energy and infrastructural development”, he said while unveiling the Federation’s official views on the budget.
The Federation has anticipated the resolution of the problems facing small and cottage industrialists, as well as economic recession, investment shrinking, production and market management issues and limited access to finance through the budget. (RSS)
