Millions Gather at Mount Arafat for Hajj Pilgrimage

Muslim pilgrims from around the world gathered at Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia for the spiritual climax of the annual Hajj pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam.

The gathering at Arafat, located near the holy city of Mecca, is considered the most significant ritual of Hajj, where pilgrims spend hours in prayer and reflection seeking forgiveness and blessings.

Thousands of worshippers dressed in white were seen ascending and praying on the mount under tight security and extensive logistical arrangements by Saudi authorities.

Hajj is one of the largest annual religious gatherings in the world and is mandatory once in a lifetime for Muslims who are physically and financially able to undertake the pilgrimage.
