Nepal-UAE Series: Match Interrupted by Rain

The first match today under the T20 International series between Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been interrupted due to rain.

Nepal was batting at 122 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 18.5 overs when rain stopped play. The match is being played at the Tribhuvan University Ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal won the toss and decided to bat first.

For Nepal, opener Kushal Bhurtel scored 16 runs in 9 balls, while Arjun Saud added 13 runs in 11 balls. Kushal Malla scored 17 runs while captain Deependra Singh Airi played a crucial innings of 32 runs and remains unbeaten in 35 balls.

For the UAE, Mohammad Zuhaib took 3 wickets. Junaid Siddiqui took 2 wickets while Haider Ali and Mohammad Arfan took 1 wicket each. (RSS)
