Four NA Committees Presidents Take Oath of Office

Presidents of four thematic committees in the National Assembly (NA) have taken oath of office and secrecy today.

NC Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal administered the oath to the newly elected Committee Presidents amid a ceremony organized at the Federal Parliament Secretariat at Singha Durbar.

Puja Chaudhary was sworn in as the President of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee and Jayanti Devi Rai as President of the Federalism Enabling and National Concerns Committee.

Likewise, Krishna Prasad Paudel took oath as President of the Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee and Krishna Bahadur Rokaya as President of the Committee for Legislation Management.

All four Committee Presidents were elected unopposed and on the basis of political consensus yesterday. (RSS)
