HoR Meeting: MPs Draw Government’s Attention on Various Issues

Lawmakers have drawn attention of the government to resolve problem, citing monkeys are causing massive damages to agricultural crops in hilly areas.
During zero-hour of today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, the lawmakers shared that people’s fundamental rights were violated while declaring some territories of various places including Manang and Mustang as prohibited zones, demanding to lift the decision as well as manage and operate them through local levels.
On the occasion, Ashok Chaudhary urged the government for long-term solution to the problem of inundation that occurs every year at his electoral constituency.
Similarly, Akriti Awasthi demanded legal action against those who suppressed the Gen Z movement occurred for good governance and against corruption.
Stating that they have informed the government about the measures to end monkey menace at eastern hilly areas including Khotang, Aryan Rai drew attention of HoR for its immediate solution.

Likewise, Ashish Gajurel stressed the need of presenting road safety bill immediately and pass it, sharing that seven people die in road accident every day.
Ashika Tamang asked the government to make ongoing mining of river materials in Trishuli River systematic while Indira Rana Magar demanded to bring a new programme for the solution to drug addiction.
Meanwhile, message related to three bills received from National Assembly was tabled.
HoR Secretary Harka Raj Rai tabled the message related to National Forensic Lab (Rastablishment and Operation) Bill, 2081, Tourism Bill, 2081 and Film Bill, 2081.
