Former PM, CPN (UML) Chair Oli, Home Minister Lekhak Arrested

Former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) chairperson KP Sharma Oli and Home Minister and Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak have been arrested from their residence this morning. 

According to Chief of the District Police Range, Bhaktapur, Superintendant of Police (SP), Surya Bahadur Khadka, police arrested former PM Oli this morning from his rented house at Suryabinayak Municipality-7, Gundu. 

A police team deployed under the command of SP at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Khadka, had reached Gundu at 5.00 am today. 

He shared the information that Oli was taken to Kathmandu after arrest.

Chief of the District Police Range, Bhaktapur, Superintendant of Police (SP), Surya Bahadur Khadka informed that police arrested Lekhak who has been residing in a rented house at Suryabinayak Municipality-5, Katunje this morning. 

A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested former Home Minister Lekhak and took him to Kathmandu. 

SP Khadka informed that police teams have reached Gundu-based residence of former Prime Minister and CPN (UML) chairperson KP Sharma oli to arrest him. (RSS)
