Bangladesh Beats India in SAFF Women’s U19 Championship
Bangladesh won the first match for under the SAFF Women’s U-19 Championship held at Pokhara International Football Stadium today.
Bangladesh defeated India 2–0 with both goals in the first half. Captain Arpita Biswas opened the scoring in the 29th minute, followed by a goal from Alpi Akter in the 40th minute, which proved sufficient for Bangladesh to secure the victory.

Despite repeated efforts to make a comeback, India failed to score throughout the match. With two wins, Bangladesh is at the top of the points table with six points, while India, with two points, stands in the second position. (RSS)
