Indo-Nepal T20 Championship to Be Held in Eastern Nepal’s Koshi Province

The Koshi Pathibhara Indo-Nepal T20 Championship Cup Cricket Tournament will be held from February 4 to 11 at the newly constructed Mechi Stadium in Bhadrapur, Jhapa district of Koshi Province in eastern Nepal.
Hosted by Bhadrapur Cricket Club, the tournament will feature eight teams,four from Nepal and four from India.
The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs 500,000 (approximately USD 3,700), while the runner-up will receive Rs 300,000 (approximately USD 2,200), according to organizing committee coordinator Manoj Subba.
The Indian teams participating are Rhinoland Cricket Academy Guwahati, Global Star Cricket Club Lucknow, Cricket Coaching Academy New Delhi, and Snow Lion Team Sikkim.
The Nepali teams include Bhadrapur Cricket Club, Biratnagar Kings Development Squad, Pokhara Avengers Gandaki Heroes Development Squad, and Kathmandu Gorkhas Development Squad.
For the tournament, Bhadrapur Cricket Club has leased the sports ground of Mechi Multipurpose Campus located in Bhadrapur Municipality-8 and developed it into a well-rounded cricket ground over the past three years. (RSS)
