Mero Voice Universe – Season 2

The largest Nepali singing reality show, Mero Voice Universe – Season 2, is set to premiere today on Nepal Television.

The show will be broadcast nationally on Nepal Television, airing after the 8 PM news.

Conceptualized by Dilli Adhikari, President of the Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation, Mero Voice Universe features Nepali singers from 23 countries competing in the final round.

Auditions were held across 13 countries, including Nepal, and the final rounds were conducted at AA Studio in Kathmandu. Out of 32 episodes, the first episode is scheduled to air in April/May. 

According to the foundation, Mero Voice Universe will now be broadcast regularly every Thursday and Friday at 8 PM, following the news.

Selected contestants from around the world have arrived in Nepal for the competition. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli invited them to Baluwatar, extending his best wishes and encouraging them to serve as cultural ambassadors of Nepal.

The Intra Foundation has been organizing Mero Voice Universe and Mero Dance Universe as part of its mission to connect Nepali-origin individuals worldwide through culture.

The show is directed by Bishal Aryal and Bishal Bhandari, with a panel of judges including legendary singer Deep Shrestha, composer Suresh Adhikari, singer Shiva Pariyar, singer Anju Panta, singer Lawani Chakrabarti Prasai, and singer-composer Karma Gyaljen.

The hosts of the show are Rima Bishwokarma and Raja Rajendra Pokharel.
