India’s Investigation Agency Makes Key Arrest in Delhi Car Blast

Continuing with its probe into the Red Fort area, Delhi car bomb blast case, India’s National Investigation Agency has arrested another key associate involved.

Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, another a Kashmiri resident, was arrested from Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir.

NIA investigations revealed that Jasir had allegedly provided technical support for carrying out terror attacks by modifying drones and attempting to make rockets ahead of the deadly car bomb blast which killed 10 persons and left 32 persons injured.

The accused, a resident of Qazigund in Anantnag district of J&K, was an active co-conspirator behind the attack and had worked closely with the terrorist, Umar un Nabi, to plan the terror carnage.

On Monday, NIA granted a 10-custody of Umar’s co-conspirator Amir Rashid Ali by the Patiala House Court. Kashmir resident Ali was arrested on Sunday. He reportedly conspired with Umar to carry out the terror attack.

NIA continues to explore various angles to unravel the conspiracy behind the bombing.
