Heavy Rain Expected Across Several Parts of Nepal

Nepal’s weather authorities warn of very heavy rainfall in parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces this afternoon.

One or two locations in Koshi and Bagmati provinces could also receive very heavy rain.

Most hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim, along with many hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Bagmati are likely to see rain with thunderstorms.

Moderate rainfall and snowfall are also possible in these areas.

Most parts of the Terai in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as some areas of Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki, could receive moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
