Nepal Improves ICC T20 Ranking

Nepal’s national men’s cricket team has improved its presence in the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 rankings following its five-wicket victory over Afghanistan on Friday. Nepal was previously ranked 16th.

Afghanistan, meanwhile, dropped one step to 10th from ninth in the latest rankings. The team from Nepal delivered its impressive all-round performance in Friday’s match held under the 20th Asian Games.

The win has also strengthened Nepal’s chances of advancing to the quarterfinals. Nepal will face host Japan in its final group-stage match on Saturday. (RSS)
