20th Asian Games: Nepal Wins Bronze Medal in Women Kabaddi

Nepal won bronze medal in women’s kabaddi match under the 20th Asian Games taking place at Aichi-Nagoya in Japan. In the semi-final match held at Tokai Citizen Gymnasium today, Nepal was limited to bronze medal after India defeated Nepal 48-24.

Earlier in 19th Asian Games held in China in 2023, Nepal was defeated with India in the semifinal. India scored 31-17 in the first-half and 17-7 in second half in today’s semifinal match. Earlier, Nepal had defeated Thailand in group-stage match and lost to Chinese Taipei.

Nepal had entered the semifinal after defeating Sri Lanka in the group-stage final match. This is the second medal won by Nepal in the 20th Asian Games. (RSS)
