USA to Provide 31 Million USD to Nepal

The United States of America is going to provide Nepal with 31 million dollars.

This information was shared by US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker during a meeting on Wednesday with Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, who is currently in New York to attend the 81st United Nations General Assembly.

Under Secretary of State Hooker said there is a plan to provide 10 million dollars for post-flood reconstruction. He announced that eight million dollars will be provided for drinking water and sanitation, as well as housing and livelihood for communities affected by the flood. (RSS)
