29 Arrested for Stealing Money from Washed Away Bank Safe

A total of 29 people have been arrested for attempting to steal money from a bank safe washed away by floods in the Bhotekoshi river.

A joint team of the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police has taken 29 people into custody for breaking a safe that washed away and brought to the Trishuli river downstream.

Armed Police Force Joint Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa said that Rs. 9.2 million was also recovered from their possession. (RSS)
