NA Endorses Proposal to Send Bill for Clause-wise Deliberations

A meeting of the National Assembly (NA) today unanimously endorsed a proposal to send the Bill relating the revival of previous provision under the Nepal Special Service Act-2042 (1985) to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-by-clause deliberations. 

Earlier, the NA, the upper house of the Federal Parliament, received the proposal from the House of Representatives along with its message. 

NA Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal put the proposal for a decision. He later announced the proposal had been unanimously endorsed by the session. 

Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, tabled the proposal in the meeting.

The Upper House will meet next at 1:15 pm on September 1. (RSS)
