Security Tightened in Kathmandu.

Security has been heightened in Kathmandu valley, following the arrest of former Prime Minister and UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, along with former Home Minister Lekhak.

Security deployment has been increased across major roads in the capital.

A heavy presence of security personnel can be seen particularly in the Bhaktapur area, around Oli’s residence.

UML Secretary Mahesh Basnet has warned of street protests against Oli’s arrest.
