RSP’s Sobita Gautam Wins in Chitwan-3

In Nepal’s House of Representatives election, Sobita Gautam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the Chitwan-3 constituency, securing 59,277 votes, according to the Election Office.
Her closest competitors were Renu Dahal of the Nepal Communist Party with 20,615 votes, Tek Prasad Gurung of Nepali Congress with 8,344, and Shankar Raj Thapaliya of CPN-UML with 5,004 votes.
Deepak Thapamagar of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 1,226 votes.
Out of 155,212 registered voters in the constituency, 133,000 cast their votes, with 3,375 ballots invalidated.
