RSP Unveils its Election Manifesto

Rastriya Swatantra Party has unveiled its election manifesto, titled “Commitment Letter 2082,” ahead of the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
The manifesto was made at a public gathering in Surkhet, Karnali Province. The party has outlined wide-ranging policy changes covering state restructuring, the economy, digital transformation, energy, education, health, diplomacy and governance. It also lists what it calls “100 foundations for policy departure” aimed at systemic reform.
The party has pledged full implementation of an investigative report related to the so-called “Gen-Z” movement held in late September 2025.
Among key proposals are initiating a national debate on constitutional amendments, including a directly elected executive system, a fully proportional parliamentary model, barring lawmakers from serving as ministers, and establishing non-partisan local governments.
The manifesto also promises asset investigations of public officials, confiscation of illegal wealth, and reforms to depoliticise the civil service.
