President Paudel Summons Upper House Meeting

Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel has summoned a meeting of the upper house, the National Assembly.

As per the statement issued by the office of the president, the meeting has been summoned for Sunday, 18th January, at 11:00 AM at the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Singha Durbar.

According to the notice, the session has been summoned on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers, in line with Article 93 (1) of the Constitution.

The meeting will be the first meeting of the upper house of the federal parliament after dissolution of the lower house, the House of Representatives, following the Gen-Z protest in the country.
