President Paudel Returns Home from Japan

President Ramchandra Paudel has concluded a four-day official visit to Japan and departed Tokyo for Kathmandu today.

The visit marked the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan, and President Paudel attended a special ceremony in Tokyo at the invitation of the Japanese government.

He led a high-level delegation and was seen off at Narita International Airport by the Nepal’s Ambassador to Japan, Harihar Kant Paudel, along with senior officials from the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the visit, President Paudel held meetings with Emperor Naruhito, Japan’s Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and other senior officials, discussing ways to strengthen bilateral ties.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal described the visit as a significant achievement, adding that it has added a new dimension to Nepal–Japan relations.
