Poudel’s Century Helps Nepal Post 234-Run Target to UAE

Skipper Rohit Poudel scored his second ODI century as Nepal posted 234 runs’ target to the UAE in the ICC CWCL 2 match in Dubai.

Rohit made 109 runs with 5 fours and 2 sixes as rest of Nepali batters struggled against the UAE bowlers.

Nepal that opted to bat first after winning the toss was all out for 233 runs in 50 overs.

Apart from Poudel Asif Sheikh 35, Aarif Sheikh 27 and Dipendra Airee 23 were the other notable contributors for Nepal.

Zahid Ali took four wickets for the UAE while Junaid Siddiqui grabbed three scalps.

Both Nepal and the UAE are struggling in the league with taking the last two spots.

With 17 matches each played UAE is at the bottom with only 3 wins while Nepal is one spot above with only 5 wins.
