Parliamentary Committee Directs to Scrap License of Black-market Fuel Dealers

President of the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee, Rahbar Ansari has urged the authority concerned to take stern action up to the scrapping of licensing of petrol pumps, tankers carrying petrol and LPG dealers involving in black-marketing.

At a discussion organized by the Committee with concerned agencies on the ‘smooth supply management of essential daily food items’ at Singha Durbar today, President Ansari instructed to book anyone involved in black marketeering.

Ansari also directed the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and its subordinate agencies to move forward with necessary preparations to draft the Petroleum Act and the Black Marketing Control Bill.

He shared that works for improvement are underway after drawing attention of the concerned agencies.
Ansari also instructed the relevant agencies to control the tendency of mixing chemicals in palm oil in hotels and restaurants. (RSS)
