NRNA to Hold its 12th General Convention from Feb 23

The 12th general convention of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) is scheduled for February 23-25.
A meeting of the steering committee held on Sunday after the unity among different NRNA groups decided to hold the 12th Unity General Convention in Kathmandu.
Issuing a joint press release, NRNA General Secretaries, Gauri Raj Joshi and BR Lama, shared that the steering committee announced the date for the general convention.
The meeting also took various decisions for the organizational unity and internal management. A five-member ‘NCC Unity Committee’ was formed under the coordination of Gangadhar Gautam to take the unification with National Coordination Committee (NCC) to a conclusion.
Tika Gurung is the Joint-Coordinator of the Committee while Shani Oli, Narayan Kafle and Chiranjivi Khadka are members.
The Association is to organise regional-level interaction and dialogue to disseminate the message of NRNA unity among the Nepalis in the world. (RSS)
