Sudurpaschim Royals is facing Lumbini Lions at 3:30 PM local time at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Defending runners-up Sudurpaschim Royals booked their place in the final with a dominant 77-run victory over Biratnagar in the first Qualifier.

Sudurpaschim will be aiming to go one step further this season after losing last year’s final to Janakpur Bolts by five wickets.

Lumbini, meanwhile, are enjoying a remarkable turnaround, having been eliminated during the league stage in the previous edition of the tournament.

The NPL champions will receive NPR 11 million (approximately USD 83,000), while the runners-up will earn NPR 5.1 million (around USD 38,000).

The third-placed team will be awarded NPR 2.5 million (about USD 18,800), and the fourth-placed team will receive NPR 1.5 million (roughly USD 11,300).

A total of eight teams participated in the second edition of the franchise-based tournament, organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal.
