“Nepali-Origin People should Be Provided with Identity”

Nepal’s acting ambassador to the United States of America, Sharadraj Aaran, stated that all Nepali-origin people residing around globe should be provided with Nepali identity.

Addressing the national conference of Association of Nepal Origin (ANO), in Pennsylvania, USA, he expressed hope that Nepali origin individuals could make significant contributions to Nepal’s prosperity.

The statement came after the central chairman of ANO, Dilli Adhikari, emphasized that Nepali identity should be granted by the country.

Chair Adhikari claimed that Nepali-origin people are equally ready to contribute to building a prosperous Nepal- not as a foreigner, but as a Nepali representative. However, he noted that the country should be ready to accept and provide Nepali identity.

In the program, Acting Ambassador Aaran, affirmed that the government is ready to engage in discussions that how Nepali identity could be provided to those Nepali-origin people residing around the world.

The program witnessed many Nepalis participation along with various Nepali cultural dance and other attractions.
